JABA XPRESS TOURISM / Fleurieu Peninsula - Mobile Responsive Website (JABA CMSv5) with ATDW integration.

FLEURIEU PENINSULA - REGIONAL TOURISM WEBSITE.

Fleurieu Peninsula is situated just 45 minutes south of Adelaide and offers some of the best food, wine, wildlife and events in the State.

As a peninsula, water plays a major part in the recreational activities with long sandy beaches, rugged cliff-scapes, and sheltered coves introduce a range of year round holiday activities that include fishing, surfing, scuba and snorkelling, sailing and swimming. There is plenty of things to do, places to eat and a wide range of accommodation to rest at.

The Fleurieu Peninsula council requested a new website based on 2017 web design research.

JABA built a regional tourism website, similar to other regional tourism websites within South Australia, using Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) information with V3 technology for online bookings. JABA also designed the website with style changes to colours and textures, as well as using capitals in headline fonts with key feature words highlighted by a set theme colour. The concept behind this design was proven through extensive eye tracking surveys to be the most effective for user retention online. This highly effective styling design has had tremendous results. The success of the new website has been shown through higher traffic, lower bounce rates and higher user engagement. The Fleurieu Peninsula council are incredibly pleased with the current website design as well as the simple to use Content Managment System (CMS).

JABA spent time in late 2016 working with a number of international researchers to find out how to build the ultimate website for regional and local tourism operators in 2017. The research included SEO strategies that maximise Google searches, font recall studies and current user trends on all devices. JABA has since applied these learnings to create a series of spectacular regional tourism websites.
