JABA built a regional tourism website using Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) information with V3 technology for online bookings. JABA also designed the website with style changes to colours and textures, as well as using capitals in headline fonts with key feature words highlighted by a set theme colour. The concept behind this design was proven through extensive eye tracking surveys to be the most effective for user retention online. The Fleurieu Peninsula council are incredibly pleased with the current website design as well as the simple to learn Content Managment System (CMS).
"The Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism website was recently rebuilt and looks great. The after service JABA provided was amazing and the staff are great to deal with. The design is fantastic and JABA are very helpful in this aspect. Managing the CMS has been very easy and the training session was clear and valueable"
As a peninsula, water plays a major part in the recreational activities with long sandy beaches, rugged cliff-scapes, and sheltered coves introduce a range of year round holiday activities that include fishing, surfing, scuba and snorkelling, sailing and swimming. There is plenty of things to do, places to eat and a wide range of accommodation to rest at.
