The Problem

As a SANFL club with a passionate member base, Central District needed a way to keep supporters connected to news, fixtures, results and team announcements without members having to hunt across multiple channels. Having seen the impact a purpose-built club platform had made for North Adelaide Football Club, Central District wanted the same standard of digital experience for their own members.

 

What JABA Built

JABA produced a new PWA for the club, based on a similar project delivered for the North Adelaide Football Club. The site features the latest news stories, club fixtures and results, plus the very popular team announcements, ladders, YouDogs TV and much more, giving members a single place to follow everything happening at the club.

 

What Was Technically Interesting

Rather than building from scratch, JABA adapted the proven North Adelaide Football Club platform for Central District, giving the club the advantages of a Progressive Web App, fast, app-like performance without an app store download, while still tailoring features like YouDogs TV and team announcements specifically around what Central District's members wanted most.

 

Business Outcome

Club members now enjoy the advantages of a Progressive Web App built specifically around what they use most, news, fixtures, results, team announcements and YouDogs TV, all in one fast, easy to access platform. The project also reflects JABA's broader commitment to the club as a Diamond Sponsor, supporting Central District both on and off the field.
