The Problem

Glenelg SLSC has been recognised as SA Surf Life Saving Club of the Year multiple times, including 2010, 2008, 2017, and most recently in 2024, and has served the community since 1931. With such a rich tradition, the club needed a website that showcased not only its achievements but also its wide range of offerings, from surf life-saving news to restaurant and function bookings, without the club's genuine history and community role getting lost behind a purely transactional site.

 

What JABA Built

The website keeps members and the public up to date with all the latest news, events, and lifesaving information, letting visitors easily find patrol schedules, competitions, and the club's initiatives to keep the beach-going public safe. Business Outcome

The new website gives Glenelg SLSC a single destination that supports every part of the club, staying informed about surf life-saving, booking a table at the restaurant, or hosting an event by the sea, while prominently featuring the club's history dating back to 1931 and paying tribute to the young men who founded the club during the Great Depression.
