Jam Whenever
This was an interesting and very different project for JABA. JAM Whenever is a music collaboration app that works online and this development is ground breaking in many ways.
JABA needed to research the different ways of handling streaming music tracks on a range of different devices and operating systems. Not as simple as it sounds, but we got there using the Progressive Web App platform and also creating a Google Play version for download via the app store (not that this PWA needs that).
When JABA developed this project it was the first Progressive Web App that truly replaced the need for a traditional native app. Jam Whenever was our most "app-like" PWA development at the time. It features very customised technical development to stream multiple tracks with mixing and downloading functions. The final PWA was produced at a fraction of the cost of a native app equivalent ... plus it comes with a fully functional website.
