The Problem

Following the region's rebrand to "Visit Riverland," the traditional HTML site JABA had originally built in 2016 no longer reflected the destination's new identity. The refreshed brand needed a website that matched its new colours and personality, without losing the fast navigation and ATDW functionality tourism visitors rely on, and it needed to be delivered on a very tight production schedule.

 

What JABA Built

JABA updated the traditional HTML site to a state-of-the-art PWA incorporating the new Visit Riverland branding and colours. The design of this regional tourism site is based around the user experience, with fast navigation systems, powerful and easy search options, and good quality information throughout.

 

What Was Technically Interesting

The rebuild included interactive maps and new and improved ATDW functionality throughout the site, giving visitors richer, more reliable tourism data than the original HTML build could support. The site had a very tight production schedule, and JABA worked closely with the Destination Riverland team to complete the project on time without compromising on the new branding or functionality.

 

Business Outcome

The result is a modern regional tourism platform that fully reflects the Visit Riverland brand, delivered on time despite a tight production schedule, complete with the region's signature wavy lines that let the "good times flow" carried through the design.
