As a hidden gem at the peak of the Yorke Peninsula, Top of the Yorke needed a website that could properly showcase everything the region offers, from pristine fishing spots to local dining favourites, historic pubs and scenic towns, while making it genuinely easy for visitors to plan and book a trip rather than just browse photos of the coastline.

The website highlights the region's best features, from pristine fishing spots to local dining favourites like Karimis Kitchen. Visitors can also discover historic pubs and scenic towns, and base themselves for day trips to nearby attractions like the Southern Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley wineries, and the Copper Coast towns of Moonta Bay, Wallaroo, and Kadina. Built for speed and accessibility, the PWA is fully optimised for mobile use, ensuring visitors can access the site from any device, whether planning their trip or navigating the region on the go.

 

What Was Technically Interesting

The PWA is fully integrated with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse, giving users up to date access to accommodation bookings, local events, and tourist information. This real-time integration allows visitors to access bookings and event information seamlessly, making it easier than ever to plan a getaway to this hidden gem rather than relying on static, outdated listings.
