JABA partnered with Woolly’s Bar & Grill to build a Progressive Web App (PWA) that tells the unique story of Sue and Michael’s journey from business professionals to full-time travellers, living the dream across Europe with their beloved Cavoodle, Grubie.

The website features the "Vagablog," a rich travel diary that details their extensive adventures and offers a window into the everyday life of international vagabonds.

Vagablog: Travel Adventures: The PWA’s core feature is the Vagablog, where Sue and Michael document their experiences travelling through Europe in their motorhome. Visitors can read about their encounters with local cultures, off-the-beaten-path destinations, and the realities of long-term travel—along with Grubie’s own take on the journey! This personal blog gives readers insight into how they’ve adapted to life on the road, from getting a French long-stay visa to navigating the ‘Schengen Shuffle.’

Interactive and Easy to Use: JABA designed the website with a clean, easy-to-navigate interface that makes browsing Sue and Michael’s stories a breeze. The PWA is fully optimised for mobile, so readers can follow along with the adventures from anywhere, just like the Woolly’s team.

Woolly’s Bar & Grill Origins: The PWA also tells the backstory of Woolly’s Bar & Grill, which began as a fun gathering spot for family and friends at BBQs, business lunches, and dinner parties. Although the branding, merchandise, and wine they created have never been for sale, the spirit of Woolly’s lives on in their travels.
